After a two-year absence, the Worldwide Yachting Association MYBA welcomed in Barcelona the 32nd edition of the MYBA Charter Show, one of the most important events of the B2B yachting calendar. In the special setting of the Marina Port Vell, a selected fleet of the world’s most iconic superyachts available for charter have been visited and admired by yachting brokers and members of the industry.
The General Manager of Marina Port Vell, Ignacio Erroz, affirmed that “Marina Port Vell was delighted to have been the host for an overwhelmingly successful 32nd edition of MYBA Charter Show. This was the 4th MYBA Charter Show to be held in Barcelona and for 4 days we were privileged to welcome some of the best-in-class superyachts and multiple companies from across the globe. To enable us to showcase Marina Port Vell as Europe’s prime superyacht facility in our stunning home of Barcelona was not only an accolade to everyone involved but it was a very special edition, after the pandemic, where all professionals of the superyacht sector were exceptionally happy to be able to meet again in person and enjoy our beloved city”.
And Judith Estrella, Chair of the MYBA Charter Show Panel, added: “Thanks to the return of the MYBA Charter Show in 2022, we can finally say that the transition to a new normality in the charter industry has begun. Although during the years of the pandemic our business continued to turn around, we didn’t have the chance to inspect the boats and greet our partners, which is an essential part of our work”.
We all look forward to enjoying the next 2023 edition that will be held again at Marina Port Vell.
