Probably One of the Best Superyacht in the World
— Areti MotorYacht
Charm and elegance are the hallmarks of this super yacht featuring a sports and refined profile. This is Areti, which means Virtuous in Greek, given its virtue to distinguish herself with mastery, style and experience when it comes to hospitality.

Areti was designed by Andrew Winch as a result of a complex effort, aided by the long and conscious experience of her owner who contributed to defining her contents, all of which are tailor-made. She was built at Lurssen shipyard, one of the few yards capable of building a super

yacht of this size. Her 85-meter long elegance and the pursuit of absolute beauty can be appreciated throughout.

The thin hull with its white superstructure marks her sleek line bringing out her broad spaces, while grey shades slightly tone down sun glare. Upon stepping on board, the style chosen to welcome the guests — with maniacal attention to detail and broad spaces to move around are noticed at once. And after settling luggage and formalities, the areas where to enjoy the see breeze are aplenty indeed.

Different bar areas are available to taste a welcome cocktail, one of such areas being equipped with taps dispensing cool beer for the guests, proving that even the simplest demands can be met. Amenities include a Jacuzzi accommodating up to twelve people, comfortable and broad sofas for sunbathing and areas on the different decks where guests can find their own privacy spots to indulge in pleasant conversations or immersive reading.

In a mix of invigorated tradition and classic American modernity, the interiors impact the view of the main living room, featuring all the elements needed to share things in good company, including a walnut Steinway Boston piano to kindle romantic evenings which plays the repertoire of one’s own smartphone with the IQ premium system, an open-style cellar containing fine wines within easy reach, comfortable and elegant sofas and relaxing seats for role play games with friends.

A prestigious English handmade dining table comfortably accommodating up to 16 people on hand embroidered chairs, while the most savvy connoisseurs will appreciate porcelain as a touch complementing a well thought-out onboard hospitality, as the yachts provides a homely setting where emotions can be experienced everyday.

The careful observer will notice the pleasant mix of a design enriched with works of art deployed in the different areas, including the well-equipped Gym Room to convey the feeling of living onboard like in a real house thanks to all the comforts available and the ability to keep fit also during holidays.

Technology, domotics and lighting are carefully contextualised with the design. Wooden-framed TV sets, a large number of open-style light fixtures and dimmed backlighting with remote management through an iPad in all the rooms create a soft sight-soothing atmosphere.

Technology is also concealed under the flooring where the heating system is installed under precious Embrador and Botticino marble slabs, a surprising experience considering the cold nature of this precious stone.

Areti also affords great versatility to her guests, as their cabins can be adjusted to either twin or double berths while retaining their welcoming features and solving the age-old problem of room picking.

Impressive bathrooms will welcome the guests with wood, refined marble decor and shiny brass heated towel racks, all of which are combined in a welcoming setting.

In cloudy days and when temperatures are mild, guests can take shelter in the onboard SPA fitted with all the equipment needed to rediscover oneself, relax and regenerate by relying on facilities such as the banya (a sauna of ancient Russian tradition), Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and ice-cold water pool, aromatic, experiential and chromotherapeutic showers with musical

notes matching a superior 5-star wellness centre enhanced by a touch of art, with mosaics made by Andjelka Radojevic’s artistic hand. After a healthy body purification, a special cabin is available for massages on a heated marble table and Vichy shower. Completing the treatments is a hairstyling and barber’s room to allow guests to be ready for onboard gala evenings. Areti boasts a wide private master suite and eight large suits for guests.

Two suites on the main deck, two VIP suites on the owner’s deck and a further four suites on the lower deck. Each suite is wood-panelled and embellished with hand-sewn curtains and other soft furnishings: emerald, dandelion, camino, blue, crimson, indigo, lilac and coral.

The owner’s cabin has a 180° view with a wide panoramic window and boasts access to a private deck with a Jacuzzi pool seating four people on one side, a large sun bed, a table for breakfast and a small living room area on the other side, providing easy access to the Heli-landing area.

The captain’s cabin is also a hospitable place with its hand-sewn leather upholstery. A place the guests can also access to share the experience of taming the waves. Probably, the most appealing and sociable area of this super yacht is the sundeck.

With its beach-chic atmosphere, it features generous hospitality, it is equipped with a bar, an adjustable game table, a very large flat screen TV, comfortable sofas and a multitude of cushions to enjoy during daytime and night-time as days go by onboard with extreme privacy. Given all of its extreme customisations and such a highly-customised selection of tastes, Areti will position herself among the great evergreen super yachts, as she was probably designed with a view to remaining in the hands of her owner for a long time. Areti confirms Lurssen’s leadership in the design of large yachts exceeding 70-metre in length. However, it is worth noting that this yard also builds yachts ranging between 50 and 70 metres in length, where competition is surely different.

A closer look will moreover reveal that this is one of the yachts that keeps the highest valueover time. She has traditionally stood out for her high quality and we like to think that young ship owners will soon want to learn more about this brand.
